Mirizzi Syndrome: Case Report
Main Article Content
Abstract
Is presented the case of a 38-year-old female patient under observation by the Gastroenterology Department of the Dr. Arnulfo Arias Madrid Hospital since the beginning of September 2019 where the USG is performed, which reveals the dilatation of the conditioned intra and extrahepatic roadways by calculation in the middle third of the bile duct, vesicle oversized with # 4 criteria inside <1.4 cm that are mobilized with postural changes. ERCP is performed unsuccessfully in # 2 occasions so it merits surgical intervention where # 6 lithos are extracted, one of them nestled in a conduit and without a definite separation between the cystic duct and bile duct, so it is worth exploring the open transcolecian open path extracting # 1 litho. Mirizzi syndrome was first described by Pablo Mirizzi in the year 1947 and the etiological factors of extrahepatic cholestasis in some patients with lithiasisvesicular. This pathology is uncommon worldwide.
