Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in .docx Microsoft Word format.
  • The text has double spacing, a single column; 14 point font size; italics are used instead of underlining; and all figures and tables are placed in the appropriate text places, rather than at the end with the proper format and source.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the n las Author Guidelines.
  • In articles involving human beings or review of medical records, remember to attach informed consent when submitting clinical cases and medical images and approval by a bioethics committee when submitting research articles.
  • It has the presentation letter whose content is available at Author's Guidelines .

Author Guidelines

The author who wishes to publish in the Revista Medico Cientifica must review the documents in the following links (requires Adobe Reader to access them).

 - The document *General Requirements for the Preparation of a Document* will allow you to know how you must structure your work to be able to send it and the rules of the journal.

 - The document *Guide to the Work Submission Process* is a manual prepared by the journal that will guide you through submission process in 5 steps.

 - Fill and attach the *Informed consent*, for case reports and clinical images
