Abstract

We present the case of a 24-year-old female patient who initially presented bilateral sudden-onset deafness associated with a constellation of systemic symptoms with criteria for systemic lupus erythematosus and secondary antiphospholipid syndrome. Audiometry demonstrating severe bilateral sensorineural hearing loss and excellent response to corticosteroid and anticoagulation therapy.
